Class Offerings at City Gates Academy

City Gates Academy offers classes for home schooling students from 4th -8th grades. Classes are offered once a week on Tuesday. English classes focus on literature, grammar, composition, and vocabulary building. Math classes use ABeka math texts for 5th-7th, Abeka and Teaching Textbooks texts for pre-Algebra and Algebra. History classes include Ancient History; Middle Ages, Renaissance and Reformation; Early American; and Later American for middle schoolers. Science classes are hands on project-oriented classes. Grades 6-8 participate in a locally and region wide Science Fair CGA offers several levels of both Latin and Spanish classes. Gym and Art classes are also offered.
