Hello folks,

There is a change to the syllabus for this week. Please disregard the instruction for writing the second snake paragraph. Most of you turned in your outlines as well as the article so you don't have what you need to complete it.

Instead, would you please identify in your reading this week(from RW) at least one of each of the dress ups and openers. note the page numbers and write as much of the sentence as needed to identify
it along with the number in the margin or underline it.

those of you who need to re-write the giraffe paragraph still need to do that.

Vocabulary:
A.unit 3 quest

B. units 1-3 review pages 42-43, 45-48 (p.44 and 49-50 are not crucial to the test but they can be helpful in general so if your mom says do them, do them)!

Reading:
A. Rifles for Watie(RW), chapters 17-19, familiarize yourself with the relevant vocabulary from the sheets.

B. Answer the following questions in a thorough and thoughtful manner:
chpt. 17 – Of what importance was the haversack that Jeff brought back? Chpt 19 – Suspicion about Jeff was eased by his pleasant and clean cut appearance. Heifer was teased because he is homely. Why does appearance affect how one is treated?
